By using Tools for Machining, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Informational tool only
The calculators are provided for informational and convenience purposes. They are not machining instructions, process approval, engineering advice, safety advice, inspection certification, or a substitute for applicable drawings, standards, tool-maker data, machine manuals, qualified judgment, or independent verification.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for inputs, units, assumptions, interpretation, process planning, machine setup, workholding, tooling, protective equipment, simulation, inspection, and compliance with applicable requirements. Verify important results independently before using them in manufacturing, purchasing, inspection, safety, or compliance decisions.
Permitted use
You may use the public calculators for lawful personal or business purposes. You may not interfere with the service, attempt to bypass security controls, misrepresent output as certified, or use the site in a way that violates law or another person’s rights.
Availability and changes
